From Naples to Your Neighborhood
The inception of 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria started with an aspiration: to share genuine Neapolitan pizza with Via di San Marcello, 19. Established by the Romano lineage in 1985, our pizza place was initially a quaint, locally managed venture with recipes passed down for generations.
Marco Romano, the progenitor, mastered her pizza skills through her Italian journey, learning from the renowned pizzaiolos of Naples—the homeland of pizza. On her return to the UK, her resolve was to replicate the essence of true Italian pizza, adopting conventional procedures and the premium components.
The journey from a modest establishment with just 12 seats to a cherished neighborhood mainstay was marked by growth, yet the devotion to excellence and authenticity has consistently endured. The traditional wood-burning oven methods are still in practice, the dough crafted freshly each day, with a priority on utilizing the most distinguished ingredients available.
Maintaining its family ownership, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria is now steered by the second-generation 'Romano', who continues the fervent tradition. While modern innovations are welcomed, the core of our enterprise remains intact: crafting delectable, genuine pizza that unites people.
